Ragi Cheela

Ingredients:


  • Ragi flour 1 Cup

  • Suji 1/2 Cup

  • Curd 1/2 Cup

  • Onion 1 pc

  • Capsicum 1/2 pc

  • Carrot 1/2 pc

  • Tomato 1/2 pc

  • Ghee 3 Tsp





Preparation:


  • Mix the Ragi flour, Suji and Curd into a batter by adding water and keep it aside

  • In a pan, heat 2 tsp Ghee, add 1 tsp Rai, a few Curry Leaves, 1/2” grated Ginger, 1 Green Chilli chopped finely

  • Now add 1 finely chopped Onion, 1/2 finely chopped Capsicum, 1/2 grated Carrot

  • Cook for few minutes and add 1 finely chopped Tomato

  • Add Haldi, Red Chilli powder and Salt to taste

  • Add this mixture to the Ragi batter and let it rest for 15 minutes

  • Heat a Pan and put a ladle full of the mixture on it, and spread into a round Cheela/ Pancake

  • Add some Ghee on the sides, cover it and cook for 2 minutes

  • Flip the Pancake and cook on the other side

  • Serve hot with Chutney of your choice
